The conservation of energy, mass, and momentum are three governing laws physics that regularly uttered in teaching engineering courses. Mechanical energies the form kinetic potential forms most common energy dynamics. Fluid flow relating to pressure, velocity, elevation, fluid friction, pump, turbine covered In thermodynamics course, first law deals with heat work can alter internal a system. all these courses, states amount remains constant, means is neither created nor destroyed but transferable from one another, keeping total same within fixed domain. Students initially exposed balance equation their Thermodynamics course. this emphasis placed upon those parameters specific interest related subject. We attempted tie concepts through 1st Law emphasized Mechanics. This was accomplished by taking students starting point thermodynamics’ for Energy Balance finished Mechanics’ Bernoulli’s equation. following semester, were again taken process converting mechanics. Direct indirect assessments then conducted measure students’ understanding on its conservation.
